The LIC all-in-one app is LIC's customer super app, listed in app stores as LIC DIVE at the time of writing. It lets policyholders view policy details, pay premiums online with e-receipts, get reminders and explore LIC products. LIC's digital apps began with ANANDA on 19 November 2020. This is an independent guide; download the app only from the official store listing.
What is the LIC all-in-one app?
If you hold one or more LIC policies, you have probably wished you could check them all in one place without visiting a branch. That is the idea behind LIC’s customer super app, which people often search for as the “LIC all-in-one app”. At the time of writing, the listing in the app stores is called LIC DIVE. It is published by Life Insurance Corporation of India and describes itself as a place for customers to manage policies, get notifications and buy new policies.
This page is an independent guide. We are not LIC and we do not run the app. We explain what the app is for, how to set it up safely, and where our free calculators fit in when you want to plan before you act.
What you can do in LIC’s customer app
Features change with updates, but the core services have stayed consistent:
| Service | What it helps with |
|---|---|
| Policy details | See your policies, sum assured, due dates and status in one list |
| Premium payment | Pay online with an e-receipt and quick policy status update |
| Notifications | Reminders for due premiums and alerts for pending actions |
| Product information | Browse LIC plans and start a new purchase |
| Service requests | Handle routine requests without a branch visit |
For a family managing several policies (a child plan, a pension plan and an endowment policy, say), having every due date in one place cuts the risk of a policy lapsing by mistake.
A short history: from ANANDA to the super app
LIC’s app journey began on 19 November 2020 with ANANDA, a digital onboarding tool for agents and intermediaries. It let an agent complete a new policy proposal paperlessly, with digital KYC, instead of filling in physical forms.
Customer self-service grew around LIC’s online portal, which already supported round-the-clock premium payment with e-receipts. The newer all-in-one customer app brings those services to one mobile dashboard. The app store listing we checked shows it as LIC DIVE, and no withdrawal date has been announced for LIC’s customer app line. Because names and versions change, always go by the developer name on the store page, not by a link or a screenshot someone forwards to you.
How to get started safely
- Open the official app store on your phone (Google Play or the Apple App Store). Don’t install an APK file sent over WhatsApp or SMS.
- Search for LIC’s app and check the developer. It should say Life Insurance Corporation of India. Also check the download count and recent reviews.
- Keep your details ready: your policy number(s), date of birth and the mobile number and email registered with LIC.
- Register and set a strong password. Use a password you don’t use anywhere else, and turn on the phone’s screen lock.
- Link all your policies, then check that each sum assured, due date and nominee matches your records.
- Turn on notifications so premium reminders reach you before the grace period ends.
Tip: if a policy is missing or shows the wrong mobile number, get the contact details updated at your branch first. Most self-service features depend on the registered mobile number and email.
App, portal or calculator: which to use when
| You want to… | Best tool |
|---|---|
| Pay a premium or download a receipt | LIC’s official app or customer portal |
| Check your actual policy status or loan eligibility | LIC’s official app or portal |
| Compare plans before buying | An independent calculator, then an LIC quote |
| Estimate maturity under different bonus rates | An independent calculator |
| Decide whether to surrender or continue | An estimate first, then LIC’s actual surrender quote |
The app shows the facts of your policy. Calculators help with what if questions. Try the all-in-one premium calculator to compare plans, the maturity calculator to estimate a payout, or the surrender value calculator before you stop a policy. LIC’s own figures are always final.
Common problems and quick fixes
- OTP not arriving: your mobile number may not be updated in LIC’s records. Update it at the branch or through your agent, then try again.
- A policy is not showing: older or group policies may need to be linked manually, or may not be supported in the app. Contact customer care with the policy number.
- Payment debited but premium not updated: wait a few hours and check the receipt section. If it still doesn’t show, raise a request with the transaction reference instead of paying again.
- App crashes or looks different from before: update it from the store. Old versions stop working when LIC upgrades its systems.
Staying safe from fake LIC apps and calls
Scammers copy big brand names, and insurance is a favourite target. Watch for these warning signs:
- Calls promising a “bonus release”, “policy refund” or “KYC update” that ask you to install an app or share a code.
- Links to payment pages that are not LIC’s own domain or official app.
- Requests for your OTP, password, card details or UPI PIN. No genuine LIC representative needs these.
- Apps with LIC’s logo but a different developer name.
If you shared details by mistake, call your bank to block payments, change your LIC password and report the incident to the cyber-crime helpline (1930) or the national cyber-crime portal.
Before you open the app
Use the app for the facts of your policies and to pay on time. For planning, such as “should I add a new plan?”, “what will my policy pay at maturity?” or “is surrendering worth it?”, run the numbers first with a calculator and then confirm with LIC.
Frequently asked questions
What is the LIC all-in-one app?
It is the name people use for LIC's customer super app, which brings policy details, premium payment, notifications and product information into one mobile app. At the time of writing, the app store listing names it LIC DIVE and describes it as an app for LIC customers to manage policies in one place.
When was LIC's first app launched?
LIC launched ANANDA on 19 November 2020. It was built for agents and intermediaries to onboard new customers paperlessly, with digital KYC. The customer-facing all-in-one experience came later and is now represented by the LIC DIVE listing.
Can I pay my LIC premium through the app?
Yes. LIC's online services support premium payment at any time, with an e-receipt and the policy status updated online. Always pay inside the official app or LIC's own portal, never through a link sent by an unknown number.
Is the LIC all-in-one app official?
The genuine app is published by Life Insurance Corporation of India. Before installing, check that the developer name on the store page matches exactly. Apps from other developers that use LIC's name, including calculator apps and websites like this one, are not LIC's.
Has the LIC app been withdrawn?
No withdrawal date has been announced for LIC's customer app line. Older app versions have been replaced by newer ones over time, so update the app regularly and remove old or unofficial copies.
Can the LIC app calculate my maturity or surrender value?
The app shows your policy's details and status. For what-if planning, such as comparing plans, changing bonus assumptions or estimating a surrender value before you decide, independent calculators like the ones on this site are handy. LIC's own figures are always final.
What should I do if someone asks for my OTP for the LIC app?
Never share it. LIC staff and genuine agents do not need your OTP, password or UPI PIN. Hang up, don't click links from that caller, and report the number. If you shared details, contact your bank and LIC's customer care immediately.
