What is LIC Jeevan Deep Plan 810?
LIC Jeevan Deep (Plan 810, UIN 512N270V01) is a micro-insurance plan. Micro-insurance products are built for people with small, irregular incomes: the cover is small, the premium is small, and the rules are simple. Jeevan Deep combines a little life cover with disciplined saving, and its main attraction is a guaranteed addition credited every year.
The plan is withdrawn. Our source gives the same date for its launch and its withdrawal, which cannot both be right, so we do not quote either. If you hold a Jeevan Deep policy, it continues normally and the calculator shows your premium and maturity value.

| Maximum maturity age | 65 years |
| Policy term | 5 to 15 years |

How the premium is calculated
The premium is a fixed amount per ₹1,000 sum assured, set by age and term. Because the cover is small, age makes little difference and the term matters most. For ₹10,000 cover at age 30:
- 5-year term: about ₹2,107 a year
- 10-year term: about ₹1,075 a year
- 15-year term: about ₹706 a year
The source calculator used the rate of the next higher age band. Ours interpolates between ages and terms, and we extended the table beyond age 50 using its own trend, so figures for older buyers are estimates. There is no GST: individual life insurance premiums are GST-exempt from 22 September 2025. Before that, traditional plans carried 4.5% in the first year and 2.25% after.
Worked example: a 30-year-old takes ₹20,000 for 10 years.
- Premium: ₹2,149 a year, or ₹183 a month.
- Total paid in yearly mode: ₹21,490.
- Guaranteed additions: ₹400 a year, ₹4,000 in total.
- Guaranteed maturity: ₹24,000, plus any loyalty addition.
Tip: the guaranteed return here is modest. The plan’s real value is combining a little cover with forced saving, not high growth.
Maturity benefit
On surviving the term you receive:
- the basic sum assured,
- all guaranteed additions (₹20 per ₹1,000 for each year), and
- a loyalty addition, if LIC declares one.
Leave the loyalty field at 0 to see the guaranteed amount only. Check the LIC maturity calculator for a general view of how maturity amounts build up.
Death benefit
If the policyholder dies during the term, the nominee gets the sum assured plus guaranteed additions accrued till then. If death occurs in the last policy year, the loyalty addition is also paid. An optional accident benefit rider could add extra cover for accidental death.
Who held Jeevan Deep, and what to consider now
Jeevan Deep was typically sold through micro-insurance agents and group channels to daily-wage and self-employed households. If you still pay premiums, finishing the term secures all guaranteed additions. For a new small-ticket policy, compare the sister micro plan Jeevan Madhur 182, which is also withdrawn, or the current LIC Micro Bachat 751.

How much is the Jeevan Deep premium for ₹20,000 cover?
For a 30-year-old on a 10-year term, our calculator shows about ₹2,149 a year or ₹183 a month. Over 10 years the yearly payer contributes ₹21,490 and receives ₹24,000 at maturity, before any loyalty addition.
What are guaranteed additions in Jeevan Deep?
Guaranteed additions are fixed amounts added to the policy every year: ₹20 per ₹1,000 sum assured. On ₹20,000 cover, that is ₹400 a year, or ₹4,000 over 10 years. They are paid on maturity or death.
What does the nominee get if the policyholder dies?
The nominee receives the basic sum assured plus the guaranteed additions accrued up to the date of death. If death happens in the final policy year, any loyalty addition is also paid.
Can I pay Jeevan Deep premiums monthly?
Yes. The plan allowed yearly, half-yearly, quarterly and monthly premiums, and a single premium option. Our calculator covers the regular modes. Monthly payment costs a little more over the year than paying yearly.
